Dear Friends:
About eight months ago I agreed to serve as the Oklahoma District Commander
and have found myself burning the candle at both ends so to speak. After much
consideration and prayer I have decided to focus my attention on continuing to
develop the Royal Ranger ministry in the Oklahoma District and to continue to
develop our Royal Ranger campground at Chandler, Oklahoma.
I have resigned as the National RRA President effective November 30, 2006. I
am not quitting Royal Rangers, just changing gears. I have served on the
Regional and or National staff since 1982 and it has been a wonderful
experience.
I will always be in the RRA and will do all I can to support and continue its
growth. I thank my staff, the national RRA committee and others who have work
worked so faithfully with me on the development of the RRA ministry. Keep up the
good work.
I love the Ranger ministry and will continue to serve wherever God wants me
to be. I will continue to provide assistance to Ronnie Franklin in the RRA
ministry and assist the national offices as needed.
The RRA is a fellowship ministry and this is a very important part of the
RRA.
Let me challenge you older leaders to continue to be involved in the RRA
ministry. It is not how much work you can do for your local outpost, district or
even national, but how you can serve and bless the men and women who have served
as Royal Rangers leaders with, before or after you.
‘Continuing to serve,’
Marvin Lemke
