New FCF Territorial Representative Appointed
New FCF Territorial Representative Appointed

In October 2008 Jim Rounsville, the national FCF president, appointed our current territorial FCF representative – Ted Schmidt – to serve as the national FCF scribe. Ted has served our region/territory for several years, first as our regional public relations coordinator and for the past several years as our FCF rep. He did a great job coordinating the 2007 territorial rendezvous in Pecos, NM, and in promoting FCF throughout our region.

Now that this appointment is official Ted will be stepping down as our territorial FCF rep. After consulting with Jim Rounsville and our national FCF vice president Paul Walters, I am pleased to announce that Bill Stuckey from South Texas has been appointed to serve as our territorial FCF representative. Bill has been serving as our territorial FCF scribe for about a year and a half. Bill also currently serves as the FCF vice president for the South Texas district. Both Bill and Ted have already been working on our 2009 territorial rendezvous that will be held July 14-17 in the mountains of northern New Mexico (the SW region FCF will be joining us for this special rendezvous).

I hope you will welcome Bill to this new position, and that you will make plans to join us in New Mexico in July for rendezvous. And also please join with me in thanking Ted for his years of service to our region. I look forward to him representing us well on the national FCF staff.
